Google has announced a range of enhanced artificial intelligence features for its cloud-computing clients with Gemini Pro for enterprises standing out as a top-of-the-line release.

As reported by Bloomberg, the tech giant is looking to keep pace with the pace of its competitors with the twin-pronged approach that includes Microsoft and OpenAI taking big steps in the area of AI.

The week before, Google launched Gemini with the claim that Gemini was the first device that could outperform GPT-4 across a range of fields and has now stepped up its offering with Gemini Pro for companies.

It will allow developers within the industry to build applications using the Gemini software already confirmed. Google Cloud clients will be capable of benefiting from AI-led chatbots to create apps and listing resourceful inventory databases.

The report stated that Gemini Pro will be available for free at first for Cloud customers, but doesn't include access to the full features of the program. In contrast, Google has indicated that the Cloud AI offering will be "competitively priced"

Google lagging behind

Its recent launch has Google placed Gemini as "the next step in our journey" to AI and boasted of its "state-of-the-art features".

It was also an attempt to get attention and eyeballs off of OpenAI's ChatGPT or in reverse, to go head-to-head with them. If that happens, they will be getting closer the direction they'd like them to be, but at present, the products need to perform and resonate with the public, and that includes Cloud clients.

Gemini comes in three sizes, Ultra, Pro, and Nano With the latter being rolled out in the beginning.

It was designed to run with mobile phones, giving access to many people and with custom versions such as Gemini Pro for Bard, the Google chatbot and contender to Chat GPT It is determined to be the leader from the front and not fall behind to OpenAI, whether in actual or perceived reality.
